FAQs

How does the programme work?

Neuronimo is a behavioural change programme that helps young people create healthy habits around mental and physical health. Neuronimo is evidence-based and is part of on-going work with the University of Ulster and University of Southampton. Young people complete short, fun, goal-orientated tasks over a period of 12 weeks. They are supported by Neuronimo Ambassadors throughout the programme.

Is there a limit to numbers?

We do not have a limit on numbers but we must receive your registration before the deadline with numbers attending to allocate resources. We work with your entire school body.

How do I register?

Please tap the Register button above. You will be directed to a short registration form. This will capture your details and generate an online information pack for you within 10 days. Your local Ambassador will be in touch via email to answer any questions and complete registration.

Who runs the programme and sessions?

The programmes are run by our trained Ambassadors. They are specialists in their filed of movement, mental health and nutrition. While we do run face-to face programmes, due to current restrictions this programme will be run online using recordings, animations and live sessions.

What time commitments are needed?

The Neuronimo programme consists of short orientated tasks that young people complete on a daily basis. The tasks can be as short as 3-4 minutes for our mental health tasks or 15 minutes for our physical activity tasks. You will receive a full timetable of events which will have flexibility around participation times.

Do we need any special equipment to access the programme?

Due to current restrictions, we will deliver this programme online. The content is easy to access with an internet connection. For young people who do not have access to internet, we do provide alternative resources. Please speak to your local Ambassador about requesting these.
