Cait heads up our Scientific team. An expert in behavioural change, her entire professional career has been focused on healthcare having worked at a very senior level across both Public and Private Health Sectors. In 2014 she founded Reverse The Trend with a view to tackling obesity and poor mental health in children. Cait has unique expertise in understanding the route to market with local authority public health teams having worked for 25 years in this sector. She currently sits on several children's health advisory boards across the UK.
Carol Thompson
Head of Operations
Carol heads up our day-to-to operations and ensures the smooth running of the Reverse The Trend ship. A career in early years, administration and event organisation within the Technology, Engineering and Education sectors ensures total efficiency for the Reverse The Trend Team. Carol’s interpersonal skills ensure all key stakeholders enjoy the Reverse The Trend experience.
Eugene Moleon
Head Ambassador
A former International cricketer, Eugene heads up our inspirational Ambassador team. His engaging, energetic positivity in his approach to working with children and young people ensures no child ever gets left behind. Eugene works with both international and local participants from all backgrounds and cultures. As a international athlete Eugene firmly believes in importance of the whole child approach to health encompassing, physical, nutritional and emotional health which embodies the core values of Reverse The Trend. Eugene brings a wealth of experience to our community and educational programmes.
Haya Yazeji
Youth Ambassador
A Master’s student in Educational Psychology with a specialised focus on mental health, Haya brings both academic depth and a fresh youth perspective to the work of the Reverse the Trend. Her studies center on understanding the psychological, emotional, and social factors that shape learning and development, with particular attention to the mental health challenges facing young people today.
Elizabeth Welty
Mood Ambassador
Dr Elizabeth Welty is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher. With a PhD from Queen’s University in Multicultural Education, Elizabeth always strives to bring the best combination of education and skills each time she steps on the mat. She has been working in peace conflict studies, capacity building and education for the past 18 years throughout Ireland, Europe and the United States and her favourite part of the week is taking part in LIVE Neuronimo sessions with young people.
